Hello,
Basic Information
My name is Origin and I would like to start a team. On a scale from 1 to 10, Im looking for about 8 of seriousness. That involves no supertryhards, participating in open leagues and stuff like that, Id like to start a little bit slowlier, more realistic goals. For starters, Id like to make communication rules, organise ganks, thinking of drafts, practising those drafts, you know, stuff, that makes you know your allies more.
Musts to have in order to join me
Im slightly above 5k MMR, but Im not super oriented about mmr, Anyone above around 4k is good enough for me. Also, in order for you to join, you need to have a funtional mic and a discord account. Also, I want to play daily, aka on a daily basis, 2 – 4 games a day, if you cant afford that, dont apply. Of course, exceptions are allowed, holidays acceptable, all good, myself, Im a student so everyday 2 – 4 games is good enough, no need for more. You need to be calm, understanding, not super super tryhardy, have patience and understand, that in order to properly start a team, we need to start slow. What I mean is, teamranked cm mode, unranked cm mode, will in the future transform into faceit tournaments and scrims vs better players. And, prepare your sence of humor, cause I want some laughter in the team as well.
What positions do I accept and how?
If youre applying for a certain position, this is, how its gonna go (Btw. Myself, Im position 3, aka offlane, so dont apply for offlane, pls :) ) If youre applying for a position 1, aka safelane carry, After i ask you some questions, well go into a lobby and youll be facing me, 1 vs 1, safelaner vs the offlaner, of course, safe laners have a big disadvantage not having the supports there, thats why youll pick a good laning hero and Ill pick smt like a nyx, something more passive. I want to see your lane control and your ability to harass out the offlaner, if the situation gives.
If youre applying for mid, you need to be able to defeat me. My mid is my worst role, so, if you can defeat me as mid, youre good to go. Best of 3, first of I choose a hero well both play, then its your turn and if its 1 to 1, sf time. If you defeat me, great.
If youre applying for supporting, pos 4, Id like you to play these heroes : earthspirit, sand king and nightstalker, these heroes are crucial for me, the rest well figure out. Also, you need to be the guy talking the most in games, you need to build up good relations with every single member of the team, so that you can coordinate ganks etc etc. Also, having good relaions with supp pos 5 is great, if I may add an example, Fy and Fenrir, great support combo.
Lastly, if youre applying for position 5, I expect you to be calm, have good communication skills and be able to sacrifice your farm for the greater good. I promise, your sacrifice will be rewarded.
Last words
If youre good at drafts and drafting, thats also very very welcoming, Im a drafter myself, but having different perspectives on drafting makes the game more interesting. Everyone has to be punctual and be prepared, that sometimes, well also sit down and watch a pro game together, analyse what theyre doing and maybe implement that in our own games. Well be discussing new drafts posibilities as well, draft openings. And the only thing Im willing to ask, pls, when you do have interest, have interest with me, I have a ton of experience in dota but sometimes I can get cranky. I want to get better at this game, win games with good guys and have fun. If you have the same goal, I dont see a problem.
