If you were running it smooth before, its most likely an issue with background processes rather than dota 2 however i did notice a few lag spikes every now again since the new update. Also could be that the game got too heavy with new updates. in that case i suggest lowering your settings.
Go to your task manager and click "show more details" and see whats running. If you find unneeded processes running you can end them. Also look at the "Startup" tab on top. and disable unwanted crap from starting up when ur pc starts up.

I need help guys? In recent months i have problem with game. Game is full of bugs and doesnt run smoothly. I have 8gb RAM, i5, nvidia geforce 920m, and i used to play it on best quality. Now on low, still full of glitches. What should I do to have batter performance?
