Avg mmr of team is let's say 4500 vs a team of 4500. The ones having over 4500 win a bit less compared to those below 4500.
Now let's say an avg team mmr of 4500 vs 4600 should be something like +30 mmr avg for the 4500mmr team for winning as opposed to +20 mmr for winning. From that avg 20 or 30 mmr you distribute according to each players mmr differing from its own team mmr avg like above. You could say there's 100mmr to divide between the teams 5 players. Distribute more to the ones with lower mmr because they were required to pull up their game since the win/loss difficulty was set up a bit higher than their mmr prior to the game. Same reason you lower the gains of the ones a bit higher than the team mmr.
Now, this only works IF IF IF the disparity between both teams mmr isn't BIG so let's say a maximum of 100-150mmr tops. Else fall on a shared win/loss distribution of mmr IN the team.
